Cool It Down ถือเป็นอัลบั้มลำดับที่ 5 ของ Yeah Yeah Yeahs ถัดจากอัลบั้ม Mosquito ที่ออกวางขายเมื่อปี 2013 โดย Cool It Down มีทั้งหมด 8 แทร็ก และมีกำหนดวางขายวันที่ 30 กันยายนนี้ ภายใต้ต้นสังกัดใหม่ Secretly Canadian
